Having completed a Performing Arts degree at the University of Winchester, James went straight into presenting with Lord Spencer at the Althorp
Literary Festival. James is no stranger to Althorp House as he has been storytelling there for a number of years to the children that visit over
the Christmas period.
Best known from the hit Channel 4, E4 and 4Music series “Shipwrecked” where he charmed an audience of over 3.6 million viewers. James was voted one of the most popular characters on the television show as he struggled to survive for over three months on an island with nothing but the most meagre of rations. He survived and was even part of the winning team! Since then James has been heard on Radio 1 and appearing on Channel 4 again, this time through his involvement in the Orange Rockcorps project, a volunteer project that aims to get young people involved in building up their own community with the help and influence of music. Other work has included a number of modelling jobs and appearing on Heat Radio, Heart FM, BBC Radio 1 and BBC Radio Northampton. The energy and enthusiamsm that James puts into every production makes him an amazing personality to work with. James comes from the depths of the countryside and has a passion for polo. Having been playing in Argentina recently where he practised and played tournaments for 6 weeks; he loves to do things differently. James' presenting style has gained him many followers from his home town. He's a rising new talent and someone to surely look out for in 2011.
